Job Requirements

Implements, supports, and potentially lead integrations for Cardiology Imaging projects.  Provides application and technical support for the imaging team in addition to cardiology system triage and troubleshooting assistance to the end-users. Provides workflow, documentation and standardization with system optimization for the application and workflow alignments. Engages in problem management and resolution activities. Installation and integration of image modalities for PACS, CPACS, DMWL and worklist. System user management to include setting up new users, training, DDP setups, and configurations.

 

·  Project work to support Cardiology Information System’s strategic planning, workflows identification/optimization and configurations 

·  Works closely with radiology/cardiology departments to optimize workflows utilizing the RIS/PACS/CPACS technology

·  Can support cardiology department project initiatives and work efforts

·  Collaborate with the team to understand business issues and needs while working with users to identify and assess strategies that meet Cardiology operational needs

·  Technical knowledge of imaging modalities in Radiology and Cardiology

·  Can facilitate all RIS/PACS/CPACS training of Radiology staff, alternative system administrators, IS, physicians, etc…

·  Create project organizational structure and team composition; facilitate communication between project team members on deliverables

·  Develop documentation for project implementation, installation, configuration, testing, training, policy and procedures, issue resolution, and customer support

·  Develop testing plans for all new cardiology software implementations

·  Coordinates and participates in all software implementations/upgrades and training activities

·  Support maintenance of the enterprise cardiology system

·  Knowledge and understanding of technical disciplines including programmers, systems analyst, and networking in a healthcare environment involving multiple applications and interfaces.

·  Knowledge and understanding of the integration of a cardiology information systems with specific organizational business needs and plans

·  Knowledge of PC applications (MS Office and MS Project) and the ability to write reports.

 

Minimum Education:

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent in clinical discipline, computer science, or other related field

Five years’ experience in a Cardiology RIS/PACS application area

CIIP certification for PACS/DICOM preferred but not required.
